Read Insurance Policies the Same Way We Read Leases
Coverage limits, exclusions, endorsements, and renewal dates - extracted, source-traced, and tracked, so nothing lapses without warning.
The team behind Abstria - trusted by enterprises including:

Insurance certificates get filed once, then forgotten
A certificate of insurance gets collected at lease execution, checked against the lease requirement, and filed away. From there it's invisible - nobody is watching whether coverage lapses, whether the named insured changed, or whether the renewal certificate ever actually showed up.
That gap is where uncovered claims and compliance exposure live. Abstria closes it with the same extraction engine already reading your leases.
The same structured accuracy, applied to policies
Every capability below runs on the extraction pipeline already built for commercial leases.
Policy Extraction
The same AI extraction engine that reads leases reads insurance policies - coverage limits, named insureds, exclusions, endorsements, deductibles, and effective/expiration dates pulled out as structured, source-traced fields.
Coverage Tracking
Every policy is tracked against the coverage thresholds your portfolio requires. When a certificate lapses or falls short of the required limit, it surfaces immediately instead of getting caught at renewal time.
Renewal Alerts
Configurable alerts ahead of policy expiration and certificate renewal dates, so nothing lapses silently. Route alerts to the team that owns the follow-up.
Source-Traced Review
Every extracted field links back to the exact page and clause of the source policy document, verified in the same dual-panel editor used for lease review.
From Policy PDF to Tracked Coverage
Four steps, the same pipeline that already powers lease abstraction
Upload
Upload insurance policies, binders, and certificates of insurance in PDF format alongside your lease documents.
Extract
AI extracts coverage limits, named insureds, exclusions, endorsements, and key dates into structured fields in minutes.
Verify
Review every field in the dual-panel editor, with each value linked back to its exact source location in the policy PDF.
Track
Coverage state and renewal dates are tracked continuously, with alerts before certificates expire or fall out of compliance.

Insurance-specific questions
Does Abstria replace our insurance broker or underwriter?
No. Abstria extracts and tracks structured data from policy documents you already hold - it does not underwrite, price, or broker insurance. It is a data-extraction and tracking layer on top of your existing policies and processes.
What kinds of insurance documents can Abstria process?
Abstria processes PDF-based insurance documents - policies, binders, and certificates of insurance (COIs) - using the same extraction engine built for commercial leases.
How is this different from tracking insurance clauses inside a lease?
Lease abstraction already surfaces the insurance requirements a lease imposes. This extends that further by reading the actual insurance policy or certificate itself, so you can compare what the lease requires against what coverage is actually on file.
Can renewal alerts be customized?
Yes. Alert thresholds - for example 30 and 14 days before expiration - are configurable per policy type and per portfolio, and can route by email or into your existing workflow tools.
